										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>This project includes the full reworking of an industrial unit for a local brewery. We are work closely with the client and the designer, Zelah Studio.</p>
<p>The Tap room will be a local event space for both Verdant events and public hire. It should have a capacity of up to 200 people and facilities to suit.</p>
<p>It has been suggested to open up the South-West corner of the building to provide greater light and allow for the ground floor Tap room to flow onto Outside Space for summer events.</p>
<p>The offices are to house up to 15 staff and will include; a Meeting Room, Communal Office space, Storage and Kitchen facilities. The offices are to have views to the Brewery floor and a mezzanine level above the Tap room is desirable.</p>
<p>The separate &#8216;Floor staff Hub&#8217; is to be positioned at the opposing end of the Cold store and will provide a Boot room for up to 10 staff. </p>
<p>There is to be a Shower and Toilet provided but the main toilet block will be within the Office/ Tap end of the brewery.</p>
<p>The Workshop is provided for equipment storage and small repairs only. The Lab is on the first floor and is to be accessed via steps which also serve the storage area on the upper level.</p>

<p>Fowey is regarded as one of the most attractive waterside communities in the county. Particularly well known as a popular sailing centre, the town has two thriving sailing clubs, a famous annual Regatta and excellent facilities for the keen yachtsman. For a small town Fowey provides a good range of shops and businesses catering for most day to day needs. The immediate area is surrounded by many miles of delightful coast and countryside much of which is in the ownership of the National Trust. The construction of the buildings was of traditional masonry construction and included substantial earthworks and the introduction of several retaining walls to part of the site perimeter and within the site.</p>
<p>Now complete and finished to exacting standards, Tremenheere is a substantial four bedroom/three bathroom detached house of approximately 2190 square feet (203.8m2).</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The redundant barn was considered to be a classic example of a mid Cornwall &#8216;Linhay&#8217;. It is 10m by 6m in size. The exact age of the barn is unknown but given its architectural style it is suggested to date from the mid to late 18th century. It is considered that the barn would have once formed a number of ancillary agricultural buildings associated with the original farmhouse. Before conversion the barn was used for storage purposes and was in a state of general disrepair.</p>
<p>The barn was converted into a holiday let. Underpinning works were required in order to level and form the new formal floor structure.</p>
<p>Although the stone work was in good order, the envelope of the building had to be raked out and re pointed during the conversion works. The stone work has been previously rendered using a cementicious render coating however, cement render is too brittle for use on stone substrates. This was carefully knocked off this rendering and re pointed with a suitable NHL mortar.</p>
