										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>This project includes the full reworking of an industrial unit for a local brewery. We are work closely with the client and the designer, Zelah Studio.</p>
<p>The Tap room will be a local event space for both Verdant events and public hire. It should have a capacity of up to 200 people and facilities to suit.</p>
<p>It has been suggested to open up the South-West corner of the building to provide greater light and allow for the ground floor Tap room to flow onto Outside Space for summer events.</p>
<p>The offices are to house up to 15 staff and will include; a Meeting Room, Communal Office space, Storage and Kitchen facilities. The offices are to have views to the Brewery floor and a mezzanine level above the Tap room is desirable.</p>
<p>The separate &#8216;Floor staff Hub&#8217; is to be positioned at the opposing end of the Cold store and will provide a Boot room for up to 10 staff. </p>
<p>There is to be a Shower and Toilet provided but the main toilet block will be within the Office/ Tap end of the brewery.</p>
<p>The Workshop is provided for equipment storage and small repairs only. The Lab is on the first floor and is to be accessed via steps which also serve the storage area on the upper level.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">J J Jones were contracted to construct a New Agricultural building that was to be used for Dog Agility Training. The building is 30 metres by 18 metres and constructed with a steel frame and timber cladding. A sliding door measuring 3 metres by 2.1 metres fronts the building with a entrance to the adjoining office space.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The land was originally agricultural land and required excavating for the foundations. Concrete foundations were laid and retaining walls built to the read of the building. The roof cladding used was a heavy duty Plastisol coated box profile steel cladding supported upon galvanized ZED prulins complete with sleeves and anti-sag struts. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Due to the nature of the building a specialist flooring was required. Activ-Track is a type of synthetic riding surface, commonly used in Equestrian arenas. It is a high quality waxed surface which provides ease of care, weather tolerance and minimal tracking with no irrigation required. It is made with a CLOPF Fibre which provides exceptional energy return. It has excellent cushioning properties and climatic tolerance. </span></p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p class="p1"><span class="s1">We were successful in our tender and negotiation to build three new Sure Start Children&#8217;s Centres across Cornwall.</span></p>
<p class="p2"><span class="s1">Sure Start Children’s Centres are designed for children under five and their families to receive high quality integrated services and information within their communities. Children’s Centres offer services to give children the best start in life and help them reach their potential.</span></p>
<p class="p3"><span class="s1">The new building at St Pirans, Perranporth was in immediate proximity of the existing adjacent buildings and school property and we had to ensure that access was maintained to the existing buildings and to the schools car parking areas. Additionally we were required to maintain appropriate means of escape to all existing buildings including providing all necessary temporary screens, hoardings, signage, etc.</span></p>
<p class="p3"><span class="s1">The contract period overlapped the school&#8217;s term times so we found it imperative to arrange for deliveries to and removals from the site so as to cause the minimum of inconvenience to the occupants and general public, and employ all necessary protective measures to ensure that no damage whatsoever occurred to existing buildings and facilities whilst the building operations were in progress. The school catered for an age group of 0 – 11 years and we gave special consideration to ensure the safety of all pupils, parents and staff during the works.</span></p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p class="p1"><span class="s1">We were successful in our tender to complete the build and refurbishment of 19 industrial units at Kernick Road. .</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">The Programme of Works needed to be phased for certain units to enable continued works for the present tenants.  Our instructions were to strip and refurbish 4 of the units including service connections and then relocate existing users to the completed units before completing all work to the remaining units.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">The works included excavating and disposing of a bank for a distance of 54 LM to accommodate the new units.</span></p>

<p class="p1"><span class="s1">The works were undertaken within Crantock Bakery’s manufacturing plant at Indian Queens, Cornwall.  The works included: demolition, new walls and ceilings, wall finishes, floor finishes, mechanical, electrical and plumbing services.  </span></p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p class="p1"><span class="s1">We were privileged to be chosen to complete the reconstruction and extension of the existing office building at Royal Cornwall Showground, Wadebridge for the Royal Cornwall Agricultural Association.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">The work comprised of complete demolition of to existing office building and construction of a new two storey office building. The existing structure was taken down to floor slab level and from the the new timber frame building was constructed together with a small extension to the front to provide the entrance lobby.</span></p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p class="p1">On the river&#8217;s edge at Penryn sits Jubilee Warehouse. Designed with sustainability and creativity in mind, the once austere 1950s storage unit has been converted into thirteen high quality workspaces for creative professionals.</p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">The focus of Jubilee Warehouse is its shared space, a five metre high glazed atrium in the centre of the building. With an oversize, multipurpose octagonal table, kitchenette, piano and ping pong table, this central area is intensely communal by design.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Jubilee Warehouse has been awarded the <a href="http://www.breeam.com/refurbishment-and-fit-out"><span class="s2">BREEAM</span></a> rating of Excellent, as well as winning Best Contribution to the Built Environment &#8211; Retrofit in the <a href="http://www.cornwallsustainabilityawards.org/previous_winners/"><span class="s2">2015 Cornwall Sustainability Awards</span></a>, in recognition of the Warehouse&#8217;s commitment to renewable energy and sustainability.</span></p>
<p class="p2"><span class="s1">The owners ambition for an eco </span><span class="s1">conscious </span>space means that the building boasts an array of renewable resources such as Photovoltaic panels (PVs), rainwater flushed toilets &#8211; saving drinking water and keeping tenants’ costs down, Under Floor Heating throughout, external insulation and Electric vehicle charging points.</p>
